DONATION BASED CLASS DETAILS:

I have been extremely grateful to all of my students for the support of my donation based practiced during these unprecedented times. As of November 1, I've taken a hiatus from teaching these classes, but it has been a such joy to share 50-100% of the donations from these months of practice together to causes I deeply care about. We've been able to donate $2,135 so far among the following charities:

Armenia Fund, GoFundMe's California Wildfire Relief Fund, Impact Lebanon, Armenian Wounded Heroes Fund, Planned Parenthood, The Trevor Project, Campaign Zero, Culinary Care, Back On My Feet, Surfrider Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Sea Hugger, Crew Nation, Coffee For Heroes, Great American Music Hall + Slim's Staff Relief Fund.

50% of proceeds ($220) went to help organizations and communities that have either been impacted themselves or are dedicated to helping those affected by the wildfires in Northern California.

Impact Lebanon

50% of proceeds ($75) went to help provide shelter for people affected by the explosion in Beirut.

Armenian Wounded Heroes Fund

50% of proceeds ($75) went to support the Armenian military heroes in Artsakh while they are fighting on the front lines during a pandemic, which is dear to my heart as I am Armenian.

Planned Parenthood

50% of proceeds ($115) went to supporting women's health and ensuring health centers in Northern California can continue to be a resource for patients who need heath care.

The Trevor Project

50% of proceeds ($150) went to providing mental health support by way of crisis intervention and suicide prevention through a 24/7 toll-free confidential suicide hotline for LGBTQ youth.
